This is the second guided practice following the Psoas Experiential Anatomy video. In this practice we begin with a PASSIVE MOVEMENT exercise for the hip and psoas muscles. Then we do the supported RELEASE of the psoas muscles (the hips and back in general benefit as well) that we learned in practice 1. Following that I take you through a progressive exercise to WORK the muscles, then we STRETCH them with two techniques (and I give some knee friendly modifications for those who cannot put weight on the knees) and to wrap it up and integrate, we REST. Once you learn the practices in Practice 1 and 2, you can alternate them on different days but you can also combine them in a sequence alternating the WORKING and STRETCHING portions. Without the explanations and just moving through the exercises on your own, it would take 20 - 30 min. depending on how long you do the RELEASE and REST parts.
