Psoas Release, Work, Stretch, Rest - practice 1 (33 min)

This is the first guided practice following the Psoas Experiential Anatomy video. In this practice we create a support to RELEASE the psoas muscles which can really use some release since they are always busy supporting our posture when sitting and standing and movements like walking, climbing stairs, hiking, running etc... After a nice release, we WORK them with some resistance training, STRETCH them actively (as opposed to a passive stretch) and then we REST. The rest phase is a good technique to know as well for times when you've done some very physical work and need recovery or when your back is sore and aching.
