These yoga classes will emphasize slow mindful movement inviting you into deepening levels of awareness on the continuum of physical-mental-emotional being. This style of practice could be called "the yoga of awareness". Through cultivating mindfulness, exploring movement inquiries, breath awareness and yoga postures we will step onto the path of yoga.
Yoga is a state of being and also a practice to realize that state. Through yoga practices such as physical postures, both active and restful, and breath awareness techniques the practitioner cultivates deeper awareness first on the physical level and eventually to subtler mental/emotional levels. Meet me here for the experience of yoga.
