This 4 week course focuses on leveling up the dynamic aging skills you learned in Badass Old Lady Training BASICS. We will continue to develop strength, mobility, balance and resilience from the ground up. Concepts learned in the BASICS class will be reviewed and expanded upon. If you did not take the BASICS series but feel ready for a movement challenge you are welcome to attend! Badass Longevity is for ALL HUMANS of all ages that want to move better and for longer!
Week 1 - Badass Core Stability! We will play with various ways to build amazing - badass - core stability to support all your movement.
Week 2 - Badass Balance! We will focus on enlivening our feet and play with various ways to develop, maintain and improve our balance.
Week 3 - Badass Bone Density! We will explore ways to maintain and build badass bone density with low-to-no impact options for everyone.
Week 4 - Badass Mobility! We will play with movement sequences that build on our stability and expand our range of motion.
Old age is NOT synonymous with poor balance, having to take the elevator instead of the stairs, needing to use your arms and momentum to get out of your chair or letting go of getting down to and up from the floor. Why wait until you are 50 (or any other random age) to discover your balance is poor or that your hips have become so weak that are using compensatory movements to get out of your chair? Let's start training NOW to be badass old ladies that are still doing all the things we want to be doing for as long as we are breathing!
