Vestibular Challenge Balance Practice (40 min)

A practice for cultivating balance and coordination. We start with breath work and a simple progressive exercise to wake up the vestibular system. We practice a variety of one legged postures (including utthita hasta padangustāsana) with plenty of support leading to deeper progression to challenge our strength (particularly feet, legs, hips and core) and improve balance. In the meantime we tone the vestibular system and focus the mind...leading to... the state of yoga: centered, balanced, focused, awake.
