Great practice for beginners and also continuing students that may benefit from doing a little less (not diving as deep into a pose immediately and moving more slowly and mindfully). In this class we practice the foundational alignment principles that you will use throughout your yoga journey. In particular we practice some key standing poses with a focus on alignment and building an understanding and experience of the asana (posture) from the floor upwards.
This phrase "I Know You Can Do More But Can You Do Less?" comes from my teacher Judith Lasater and has been a powerful question for me to ask myself on a regular basis to remind me that I get so much more out of life when I let go of trying to do it all.
