In this class we are honing in on a classic yoga move to strengthen hands and feet. Utthita Hasta Pādāṇguṣṭhāsana features a grip of the fingers and the big toe that strengthens the grip strength of the hands as well as the sole of the foot. I'm playing with variations on this pose and exploring different ways of "getting a grip" to provide a wide range of strength practice for the hands. The feet also benefit as the big toe has to grab back. If you have had plantar fasciitis - try this out - it may help you prevent future inflammations.
