In this tutorial I lay out a practice to help improve tight hamstrings - the muscles of the back of the thighs. First we do a hamstring check-in. Then we start to bring more mobility by working with the toes, bringing in movement and strength. We move upwards to the feet, ankles, lower leg and then come back to the check-in with the hamstrings. Key to understanding tightness in the hamstrings is that they live within the fascia - a connective tissue that holds the whole body together - of the entire back line of the body.
