Exploring Balance! (39 min)

In this practice we learn a very effective way to balance on one leg and then we explore and play with challenging our balance to improve and get stronger. In the class we apply this to some eka pada (one leg) standing poses but you will find this applies to all of our movements of daily living. Learning to and being able to balance on one leg stimulates our sensory systems, cognitive system and musculoskeletal system. This has been found to improve our cognitive function, confidence, functional movement and overall quality of life. SO - Go balance! Have fun!
