We begin this class with a breathing practice focused on the elements and the correlated energy centers in the body. This practice leads us into some lovely non-linear movement - great for our shoulders, torso and hips and then we play with what I am calling a "swirling mālāsana". Mālāsana (a squat) is the garland pose - this is a high mālāsana and we are swirling it! If that isn't enough fun then we are hopping our dog...not sure what that means?....well, you are about to find out! A fun and exhilarating practice for feeling strong and wringing out tension. Hop on in!
