Beginning to Explore Upper Body Strength (35 min)

This is a great practice to begin exploring your upper body strength and practicing bearing your own weight. In this class we play with a variation of a sun salutation to move into and out of weight bearing in the upper body. We progress from very supported exploration of taking our weight into our arms and hands and slowly make it more challenging. This is a great practice to maintain your ability to get up and down from the floor. And at the end we even touch base with how to approach a handstand !
