We start this class learning how to support ourselves for alignment and ease in sitting then use that for a practice that cultivates a foundation for meditation. If you prefer to get right into movement you can skip to 23:40 min. (it's ok - I give you permission!) to begin the asana practice. We focus on important alignment principles to maintain healthy joints and then some explorations to strengthen the hips, bring mobility to the shoulders and thoracic spine and swimming, sliding play to move into a backbend and a twist. We finish with a restorative forward bend and of course savasana.
