Props needed: mat, 2 blocks, belt, blanket for śavasana
In this class we are practicing asana-s that take the pelvis through a full range of motion around the femur (thigh) bone with our standing poses and then a bit later we move through a series of asana-s on the floor taking the femur bone through a range of movement within the hip socket. This leaves us with deliciously happy hips freed up to allow abundant energy to flow unimpeded through the body. In addition we enliven and bring stability to the core of the body with a little quadrupedal movement and a prone backbend.
