If you are interested in staying resilient, mobile and strong (and maybe a little feisty) as the years go by - Join me for a playful, engaging movement practice that I like to call my "badass old lady training"! I'm not training to be slim, or look good in my swimsuit...I'm training for old age. I want to be stable, strong, resilient, dynamic and do the things I enjoy doing for as long as I can.
In this class we work on balance, stability, and mobility of all the joints, strength including grip strength for strong hands and wrists, endurance, posture, better breathing and mindfulness.
Do not wait to do this when you think you are "old". This is not just for "old ladies" - this is for anyone that may one day BE an old lady, or anyone interested in learning how to move well and how to move better. You actually don't even have to be a lady. But fair warning...you may become a total badass.
Possible side effects: feeling great, soaring confidence, and feeling good about aging.

December 6 and 13 - Playing on the Playground! Join me for two Saturdays in December at 10am to move your whole body as we explore quadrupedal movement, hanging and brachiation, balancing, and creative ways to move over, under and around objects on the playground. We will loosen the body up, galvanize our strength, get our circulation moving, connect to the breath, enjoy community and have FUN!
