Start your day strong, stable and energized!

Greetings Fellow Yoga Sadhakas (practitioners),

This past week in my personal life as well as in the world, events have been topsy turvy. The advice I give myself in these times is: "Take refuge in the heart. Take refuge in your body. Take refuge in your practice." Continuing to take care of myself in the midst of change, loss and turmoil is the foundation for equanimity for me. Showing up for sitting with everything just as it is helps me maintain my perspective. I let my heart and body lead me into the practice that best supports me in that moment.

Sometimes I just need to lay on the mat and feel the feels. And then other times I want to press into the Earth and feel my strength and cultivate my power.

This week I am sharing this practice with you: Start Your Day Strong and Stable (33 min) in the Asana Practices (less than one hour) section. We begin with a connection to the Earth and self connection and then move into some strengthening practices and also some flowing and playful movements. Try it out on those mornings when you need a little something to get you going connected, strong and stable.

I have also added a longer class called Rockin' Baddhakonasana (66 min) in the Asana Classes (one hour plus) section. This is THE class to take if you want to work on seated postures. We do plenty of prep work and then a playful seated flow through several postures.

Also - please remember to take time to just sit and listen. Let your heart and body tell you what you need. Check out the restorative yoga section - there are plenty of supported practices there to nourish you!

Have a gentle week filled with kindness.

Punar milamah (see you soon)

Audrey
