This week we are working on cultivating our stability with side planks. In these classes I am starting with basic moves to warm up the body and improve our mobility and then we progress the challenge with a variety of approaches - lots of suggestions for mastering a side plank. You'll find some brain challenge as well - coordinating some fun shoulder movement. We finish our practice with a supported inversion and śavasana to let it all sink in. These supported inversions are great for boosting the immune function so don't miss it....and you could even practice it on its own throughout the week to keep you well rested and your immune function strong.
I put two classes in the library for you:
Powering Up - Preparing for Side Planks (63 min) this is a one hour class with detailed instructions and suggestions for regressing or progressing the challenge.
Power Up with Side Planks (40) is a guided practice of the above class and there is some soothing background music included.
