Another Practice for Hot Summer Days

(Greetings Friends!)
I hope you are finding ways to enjoy the summer without overheating! I also hope that you took the class I offered last week: Chill Out On the Floor - Part 1 and were inspired to practice and take care of yourself despite the heat. As promised I am offering another class this week practiced on the floor. Like Part 1 - we start and end with savasana - a yoga sandwich! We take some of the postures we explored and add a prop and play with them in a slightly different way for a deeper experience. I also lead you through setting up a supported supta baddha konasana (bound angle pose) with blocks and a belt for a cool way to practice this restorative pose on a hot day. Practicing this way leaves me feeling strong and energized with both body and mind refreshed and ready for more summer fun. May it do the same for you.
The class this week is amazingly creatively called Chill Out On the Floor - Part 2 (43 min) and you'll find it in the Asana Practices (less than one hour) section.
