Audrey Harpe is the founder and a teacher at Yoga Bhoga. She has been practicing yoga since 1985 and teaching since 1996. Her most influencial teachers have been Francois Raoult and Deborah Raoult with whom she began studying Iyengar yoga at the Center for Aplomb and Yoga in Rochester, NY (now Open Sky Yoga) in 1991 and completed a six year apprenticeship in 2000 which included special training in prenatal yoga.
She founded Yoga Bhoga in 2001. In 2007, Audrey completed Judith Lasater’s restorative yoga teacher training and is now a certified Relax & Renew Trainer. She continues her teacher training in pranayama with Francois Raoult since 2014. Audrey’s meditation and mindfulness practice is inspired by the work and writings of Thich Nhat Hahn and Pema Chodron. She has studied Ayurveda with Robert Svoboda and Sonam Targee. Audrey’s life
and teaching has also been strongly influenced and nourished by studying and practicing Non-Violent Communication (NVC) by Marshall Rosenberg.
Audrey sees yoga as a tool for self discovery and understanding. She is fond of saying that “We are like explorers journeying into the unknown and unique territory of our own body-mind. Through this practice of yoga we begin to draw our own unique map as we slowly discover and deepen our understanding of ourselves. It’s really a fascinating and unending journey.” She brings this enthusiasm into her teaching and is dedicated to making yoga accessible to anyone willing to set sail. Audrey is a compassionate and playful teacher committed to inspiring people to play yoga and bring more awareness and mindfulness into their lives.

Lynette approaches both her personal practice and teaching with a sense of exploration, a love of learning and a little bit of playfulness. She believes that taking care of yourself and nurturing your mind, body and spirit should be a priority. Only when we properly care for and show compassion for ourselves can we hope to effectively do the same for others.
Lynette has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and has incorporated the healing practices of Ayurveda into her wellness regimen for the last couple of years. She is drawn to these practices for the simple fact that she clearly feels the benefit they provide in her life.
“I enjoy sharing my experiences with others wherever they’re starting from. Using props whenever needed to assist with poses. Every breath, every pose offers the opportunity to gain strength, flexibility, and relaxation.”
She hopes that through her teaching she can assist others in finding the positive impact of incorporating these two intertwined practices.
Lynette is a 200 RYT certified yoga instructor trained in Interdisciplinary Yoga Studies and is currently pursuing her 500 RYT. She also holds a certification as an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist.
