for beginners and meditators of all levels interested to learn more
Just what is meditation and how do we “do” it? What are the benefits, including new information from scientific studies? How can we incorporate a practice into our busy lives? Join Patty Love of One Breath Meditation Coaching in this experiential class where we will explore the answers to these questions. Each week, we will begin class with science based information about mediation and then move into exploring a new method including mindfulness, practicing with a mantra, metta meditation, and walking meditation.
Patty Love began learning and practicing Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction during a stressful period nearly 20 years ago. In addition to completing an 8-week MBSR training with Richard Rowley and studying the teacher training materials, she has attended several meditation events and inhaled many books on the topic. Her favorite authors include Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ellen Langer, and Toni Packer. Additionally, Patty is a student of Non-Violent Communication and has completed Inner Empathy training. You can learn more about her training through the link above.
